On Monday, April 20, 2025, the New Kensington-Arnold School District will be implementing a 2-hour delay for students. This decision has been made to ensure that our Teachers have the necessary time to prepare for the upcoming PSSA Testing, which is important for our students’ academic success.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we provide our faculty with this valuable opportunity to prepare.

Please ensure that students arrive at their bus stops or schools exactly two hours later than their usual times.

The Valley High School Drama Club is excited to invite our school community, families, and friends to our annual Spring Musical, The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee! Join us as we transform our beautiful new auditorium into a fun, fast-paced, and heartfelt musical. Our students and staff have been working so hard to put on a great show. We hope you will join us in celebrating the dedication and talent of our actors.

The New Kensington-Arnold School Board will have a Buildings and Grounds Committee Meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington. The meeting is open to the public.

Kennywood School Picnic - Saturday, May 30, 2026

Gather your friends for a fantastic day of fun at Kennywood with the New Kensington-Arnold School District’s School Picnic Day on May 30, 2026!

Tickets that are valid for Saturday, May 30th only are just $32.99 if purchased online before May 18th. After May 18th, the price goes up to $35.99.

If you are not sure if you can make it on May 30th, you can choose the “Good Any Day” ticket for $37.99, which lets you visit Kennywood any day until July 12th. This flexible ticket is available for online purchase until June 30th.

A limited number of tickets are also available at the Administration Building. These tickets are valid all the way through September 7, 2026, and cost $40 each.
